Shatta Wale challenges Stonebwoy to a ‘Battle’ over ‘Dancehall King’ title

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has issued a formal challenge to fellow artiste Stonebwoy for a one-on-one battle over the ‘Dancehall King’ title.

The duo has each claimed to be the ‘Dancehall King’ as they appear to be the two biggest Reggae/Dancehall artistes in the country.

Fans of both artistes have always bantered and argued over who is the best Dancehall artiste and the debate does not seem to end anytime soon.

Perhaps, it is time to settle the debate about who holds the ‘Dancehall King’ title as Shatta Wale has called on Stonebwoy for a ‘battle’ to adjudge the King of Dancehall.

In a post on his X and Facebook pages on Thursday, August 29, 2024, Wale called for a ‘battle’ at the Accra Sports Stadium to resolve the ‘Dancehall King’ title dispute.

He assured that the challenge will be a “structured and healthy competition.”

The ‘Minamino sin’ crooner claimed that Stonebwoy should “refrain from identifying himself as a Dancehall artiste”, if he declines this invitation as he [Shatta Wale] will only consider Stonebwoy as a Reggae artiste.

The two-time TGMA Artiste of the Year is yet to respond to the challenge from Shatta Wale.
