FILLA:I made more than GHc300,000 in 2015 – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has disclosed that the year 2015 has been one of his most successful years in music. According to him, he made a lot more this year than he could ever imagine. 

The artiste, who was speaking in an interview with Dr Pounds on the ‘Hitz Gallery’ show said he made over GHc300,000 from events and tours. “God has been good to me in 2015,

 I made a lot of money, can’t really count but I made over 30 billion [old] cedis,” he said. He also revealed that he released about 95 songs during that same year. The ‘Kakai’ hit maker, who is known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Jnr, urged his fans to expect his new television station dubbed ‘Shatta TV’. 

Shatta Wale is billed to perform at the 2015 Glo CAF Awards on Thursday January 7, 2016 in Abuja, Nigeria. Just some few days in the year, Shatta Wale is aiming high. He has already been featured in a 2016 movie, ‘Shattered Lives’. Other stars in that movie are Bisa Kdei, Majid Michel, Martha Ankomah and Bismark the Joke. 

The movie tells the story of love, deceit, infidelity and violence in marriages. The plot of the story is an intense drama which tackles some of the most disheartening issues in marriages.
