Last Friday 1st December 2023 Togo had a feel of the much anticipated Bongofari ,the ODOREGGAE originator ' in full action at the prelaunch of the upcoming IARMAFEST scheduled for next year.
The event saw artists from different countries thus Ghana,Nigeria, Benin, and other african countries.
Bongofari as usual was phynomial with his performance. He made an entrance with 'Je Tem' which means i love you in english which got Togo standing up. The energy he exhibited on stage was fantastic. His afro reggae dance steps were on point.
I will say i have witnessed live reggea performances and in my opinion Bongofari really deserves the title 'Afro Reggae King'.
His style is different from his predecessors and i think if he continues like this , he will bring a Grammy award if not awards to Ghana.
